Even though developed and approved in 2002 during the period of GAWSIP, the PMU’s vision and mission statements are appropriate also for the Al-Meyyah project, and are tailor-made for the PMU's current undertakings. 

VISION

Our vision is to be leaders in the transformation of water and sanitation services throughout the Kingdom and to set in place more responsive customer-focused business-oriented utilities that are economically efficient and sustainable.

MISSION

Our mission is to obtain efficiencies in investment in infrastructure and to improve the management of water and sanitation services.  We will achieve this through promoting changes to develop the institutions and resources available for the provision of water and sanitation services, and by creating appropriate mechanisms to ensure the interests of consumers are protected at all times.
